The main cause for asthma to turn up is the allergy to house dust mites. House dust mites are tiny spider-like animals , the size of 200 microns (one fifth of a millimeter), and then not visible to the naked eye.
They can be mainly found in mattresses, pillows, blankets, quilts, sofas and carpets. It is in these spots that the mites find the ideal conditions for their development, such as a temperature of about 20 ° C, moisture between 70% and 80% and the absence of sunlight. Dust mites can be also found in teddy bears.
The very thing that causes asthma isn't actually the dust mite itself, but dropping that it produces after eating skin dust, which is left by us every night on mattresses, pillows and blankets! The only way to prevent this to happen is to use an entirely dust-proof barrier-fabric that does not allow both skin dust to get into matresses, pillows etc. (thus blocking the nutrition to mites) and the escape of mites and their faeces.
