3- How the allergy develops
|
How can house dust mite faecal particles alter our body and thus cause an outbreak of allergy and allergic disease such as asthma, allergic rhinitis and atopic dermatitis (eczema)?
This process can be explained by analyzing what is happening inside our body when it comes in touch with an allergen.
The process develops in two stages:
1- first stage: allergens get in touch with the body and lead immune system cells on to produce specific antibodies such immunoglobulins E (IgE).
2- second stage, when allergens get in touch with the IgE combined with the mastcells these release harmful substances responsible for the allergy symptoms and the subsequent incurring in inflammation and affected organs mucous membranes damage .
